This is a place called Indian Heaven, where I went hiking -- one of the most stunning hikes I've ever done, because the huckleberry bushes were turning the most beautiful autumn colours. Everywhere we looked the ground was shades of crimson and orange and gold. Beautiful meadows, beautiful forest, beautiful lakes!
(Indian Heaven is on the Washington side of the Columbia River, for those who want to go there. Not actually in Oregon, but for me it's a hike I did while I was in Oregon!)
